Field Application Engineer

YOUR CHALLENGE

Can you find the right solutions to our customers’ technical challenges? From pre-sales to after-service and support, you are in charge of organizing solutions in our future in-house lab in Brno.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

You have a key technical resource role, supporting and learning to manage a variation of (“complex”) technical challenges. You work together with technical experts worldwide towards solutions for technical issues during pre-sales, implementation, and after service support. With your technical education and willingness to learn, you organize solutions using our technical in-house lab. You are a key contributor to the team on technical topics during customer presentations, trainings, workshops, and exhibitions.

• You will provide various services under guidance and training, gradually building expertise.
• You will learn to showcase our products and solutions to customers.
• You will take charge of building relationships with corporate customers, researching information, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving customer technical problems with support from internal resources.
• You make sure you are up to date on today’s technical topics around your technical expertise.
• You will prepare, develop and maintain demos as well as Proof of Concepts with the latest technologies to support the business.
• You interface with customers to troubleshoot issues and deliver timely resolutions, both remotely and on-site when necessary.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Technical education (for example Electronics, Computer Science, Information technologies).
• Basic knowledge of x86 architecture and/or RISC architecture.
• Basic understanding of BIOS, Windows and Linux (ex. ubuntu) operation.
• You have experience in technical customer support and have strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude to identify requirements
• You are service oriented, customer-focused and have a strong hands-on mentality, like to work in a team to achieve the best support and solutions for customers.
• You show the ability to act well within international working environment (working experience with Asian culture is big plus).
• Fluency in English both oral and written is a must, any other Eastern European language is a plus.
