Your Role

The Bid Manager in the Bid Department is responsible for the preparation and submission of proposals in response to client requests and tenders.  This role is responsible for managing the proposal development process — from strategic planning and cross-functional communication, to close collaboration with the calculation manager and sales team — ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals. You will be reporting to Head of Bid.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bid process, from initial analysis to final submission.
• Develop and own the bid plan, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities are clear.
• Format and structure proposals according to RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements.
• Manage review cycles and approvals by internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that all proposals comply with client requirements and company standards.
• Provide regular updates and reports to Head of Bid.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and marketing, to gather necessary inputs for proposal development.
• Lead post-submission debriefs and lessons learned.
• Preparation of cost and price calculations
• Close coordination of bid work with our parent organization in Sweden.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in bid management, finance, project management or a similar role in an international organization, or a university degree in above-mentioned fields.
• Fluent Czech language, both written and spoken
• Very good English proficiency both written and spoken.
• MS Excel competence (pivot tables, formulas, data management).
• Previous experience in manufacturing companies and/or knowledge of ERP systems preferred, IFS is a plus.
• Willingness to travel
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• High level of initiative and self-motivation.
