You will join our Linux Team
You will join team of highly skilled colleagues who will be happy to share their knowledge with you. The Linux team is based in both Denmark and Prague but will cooperate as a single team. You will have daily scrum meetings with the team to make sure all are up to date and have the information they need.

What will be your responsibilities?
You will make sure that customers and internal systems are running as smoothly and with as little down time as possible using all the new technologies. On specific Linux projects, you will act as the Technical Lead. You will also help to implement new technologies across customers and internally.

Examples of tasks you can expect are the following:
" Plan and deploy new servers, in private cloud and public cloud, in cooperation with the customer
" Join projects on new setups or redesign of old setups
" Look into new technologies (cloud) and make sure we are always up to date
" Set up automation and backend systems for patch management
" Define metrics for monitoring on servers
" Help with self-healing on recurrent alarms from monitoring
" Help develop Continuous Operational Acceptance Testing
" Automate and optimize manual tasks
" Create "best practices" and documentation
" Complete change requests both on customers and internal projects

About you:
" Most importantly, you love to work with Linux and have an interest of keeping yourself up to date
" You have min. 5 years of professional experience with Linux server operation in a mid-size company
" You can keep a cool head in stressful situations and keep focus on the task at hand
" You have a DevOps mindset and can help develop new services, automation, scripts and so on
" You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
" You are willing to join our on-call duty rooster

You have some of the following skills:
" Expert knowledge in Linux Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and Ubuntu)
" Expert knowledge in Linux Deployment (Red Hat Enterprise, CentOS and Ubuntu)
" Good knowledge in Linux Cluster technologies (Pacemaker / Heartbeat / Keepalived)
" Good knowledge in Ansible (Playbooks, AWX)
" Good knowledge in Puppet (Hiera / Modules)
" Good knowledge in Git Repositories (Gitlab)
" Good knowledge in Automation and scripting
" Good knowledge in DNS Administration (PowerDNS and Bind)
" Working knowledge in Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, OKD)
" Working knowledge in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
" Working knowledge in VMware (vCloud / ESXi)
" Working knowledge in Network in general
" Working knowledge in load balancing technologies (ESG / Citrix Netscaler / HAProxy)
